Time's Running Out!!Make Your Road Trip Plans NOW to Attend our “SVT 15th Anniversary Reunion” @The Carlisle All-Ford Nationals!

To mark the 15th anniversary of the launch of the Ford Special Vehicle Team, Carlisle Productions has teamed with the SVT Owners Association and Ford Motor Company to host an SVT 15th Anniversary Reunion at the All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA, June 6-7-8, 2008.
The SVTOA is calling all SVT vehicle owners to join club members and SVT vehicle owners from across the country in a special, unified display area to include every SVT vehicle – from SVT Mustang Cobras and GT500s to SVT F-150 Lightnings, plus the SVT Contour and SVT Focus, even the SVT-engineered Ford GT supercar! What's more, the SVTOA will have its own display building to showcase all of the different vehicle lines produced by SVT over the years. And on Saturday afternoon, journalist, author and former SVT staffer John Clor – now the communications manager for Ford Performance Group – will be conducting a special Question & Answer session with a panel of original SVT vehicle engineers to talk about the SVT program with hundreds of attending owners and fans. Former SVT program engineers who have been invited to appear include:
- Nick Terzes – SVT Mustang Cobra & GT500
- Jeff Grauer – SVT F-150 Lightning
- Greg Peet -- SVT Focus
- Dave Dempster -- SVT Contour
- Fred Goodnow -- Ford GT
Here's your chance to meet and talk to an actual Ford SVT engineer who had worked on the development of your SVT vehicle – plus to become a part of one of the largest collections of SVT vehicles ever assembled at a single event. Better still, all registered SVT vehicles on display qualify for special awards. Plus you’ll get to meet the SVTOA’s new National Director, Marcie Cipriani, and the staff of the SVTOA National team who have planned cool club giveaways and a few extra surprises for the entire weekend. This is the one SVT-related event you simply must attend! So join the SVTOA and its club members in celebrating the longest-running, best-selling, most successful niche performance vehicle program in Ford's 100-plus year history – and show your Ford SVT vehicle at Carlisle 2008!
Registration is $40 in advance, but you’d better hurry: pre-registration closes on May 19, so now’s the time to save $10 off your event fee – plus early registrants will also get a savings coupon for $5.00 off your next purchase at the Carlisle Store on official All-Ford Nationals event merchandise. Even though you can register your vehicle at the event, you can save both time and money by registering early. For registration information, please CLICK HERE!
Attendees know the All-Ford Nationals is among the biggest and best Ford gatherings on the planet, with a massive show field, huge aftermarket parts & accessories manufacturers' midway, plus hundreds of other vendors with a variety of parts and accessories for sale. There are also hundreds of Ford & Lincoln-Mercury vehicles up for sale in the corral, special events like beauty & burnout contests, plus rock crawling, a great food court and much, much more. It's a MUST-GO SHOW for the Ford fanatic!

With a Club Re-Tune and a Driver Change, Now’s the Time to Re-Join us for 2008!

‘07 Performance Issues Bring a Retooled, Refueled SVTOA
Many of us had expected and wanted more from the SVTOA after the club’s first year as an independent organization in 2007 – so we made our voices heard! That’s why Ford has now found new, SVT-focused club leadership and awarded us exclusive rights to the operation of the SVTOA for the remainder of 2008 and beyond. This time, people who know and love the SVT brand of Ford performance are charged with delivering your high-octane club experience.
If you own a performance Ford – or, better still, one of the fantastic machines designed, developed and built by the Ford Special Vehicle Team – then you know that the value of some of our vehicles is already going up, while the wealth of information and service parts is going down. So being in the right car club not only enhances the knowledge you want, but also gives you all the right “insider” info that you need – which can save you literally thousands of dollars when it comes time to buy, sell or work on your vehicle. DON'T RELY on web-only ‘virtual” clubs, factory-paid marketing mills, archaic third-party institutions or opinion-based “free” online forums for your vehicle information – you’ll only get what you pay for … and often even less!
Rather, the very BEST WAY for you to stay tuned into what’s REALLY going on in the world of Ford performance and with the SVT brand we love is by signing up for full 2008 national membership in the SVTOA – period. Thanks to all the members and dedicated chapter and regional directors who had supported our efforts to re-launch the club for 2007, a clear mandate has been delivered to expand on our alignment with former SVT staff and engineers. Due to our well-connected new leadership, today’s SVTOA is now one of only a handful of clubs in the WORLD to be recognized by Ford Motor Company and its newly created Ford Performance Group program. (see the SVTOA section on www.fordperformance.com )
Don’t miss out on all that being an SVTOA member has to offer in 2008 by signing up NOW – it’s fast, safe and secure just by filling out our ONLINE MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION. New members will get an official SVTOA Membership Card, Ford Racing’s new Ford Performance digital catalog (a $5 value), as well as 25% off SVT Certificates of Authenticity (worth $10) and other select SVT merchandise from the Ford Performance Group Info Center (available via 1-800-FORD-788). You'll also get an SVTOA Membership Certificate and Member Windshield Decal (a $5 value), plus a minimum of 4 quarterly issues of SVT Enthusiast magazine (which would cost $40 if purchased separately). That's a total value of at least $60, not to mention your 10% discount on member purchases from www.SVTOAstore.com or any special sponsor offers and SVTOA event discounts that become available during the year.
So, if you’re an SVT vehicle or high-performance Ford owner and have never been in the SVTOA, isn’t it time you benefited from membership in a high-performance club? Or if you’ve let an old SVTOA membership lapse from a year or more ago, don’t you deserve membership in the club that’ll help you get more enjoyment out of owning your vehicle? Then sign up today.
Even if you’re one of the dedicated SVT fans who became a dues-paying SVTOA member for 2007 and received the new black SVTOA Membership Card – won’t you give us the chance to make good on last year’s membership promise? What if we send you a free surprise bonus gift just for renewing your membership for 2008? Click HERE to re-up securely via a credit card.
Beyond a full membership that clearly more than pays for itself, what about the value of having an exclusive place for getting the RIGHT answers to your SVT questions? The SVTOA staff has already fielded hundreds of specific SVT-related questions from our members who send an email to information@svtoa.com. It’s a service that we provide for FREE – but ONLY to paid SVTOA members. In fact, the ENTIRE COST of an SVTOA membership can be saved with just ONE RIGHT ANSWER that you will get from our insider SVT experts and real Ford engineers who had played a role in the SVT program – which is an EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT of the SVTOA.
So don’t delay – call your friends and JOIN TODAY. Then sign up for an upcoming SVTOA On Track performance driving event, or plan a trip to attend our “SVT 15th Anniversary Reunion” at this year’s All Ford Nationals at Carlisle, PA, the first weekend in June. One thing is for certain – A full year’s membership in the SVTOA costs LESS THAN A SINGLE TANK OF GAS – and it’s sure to take your Ford passion farther than it’s ever been before!

Click on our “EVENTS” page to check out the latest details on all SVTOA On Track and Auto X action planned for the weeks ahead – plus full information on the SVT 15th Anniversary Reunion that the SVTOA is hosting at this year’s All-Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA June 6-7-8.
